State of the Generations: a view from both sides of the Atlantic - Buzzback
How are recent events affecting young and old, and their mental health and
wellbeing?
Beyond the screen: The multifaceted world of Gen Alpha - Magenta
As the first Generation Alpha members hit their teens, their unique traits are surfacing. Known for their tech-savvy nature, mental health awareness, and passion for social causes, Gen A is challenging stereotypes. But does their digital prowess mean they'll live solely online? This session dives into surprising insights from recent Ofcom and Woodland Trust projects. Discover how Gen A's high media literacy enhances both their online and offline experiences, and explore their unexpected enthusiasm for nature, family time, and environmental activism. Gen A: digitally dependent or the most socially conscious generation yet?
What’s so different about Gen X (born 1965-1980) and Millennials (born 1981-1996)? - The Nursery
Gen X are the latch key generation, the wild children who grew up with minimal supervision and developed some bad habits. Millennials are the sensible generation and the first generation to be constantly stereotyped, accused of being workshy and oversensitive.
These two seemingly different cohorts have lots in common … and a few things that pull them apart. They are now the leaders in politics and business yet often feel ignored and misrepresented by brands.
Our 30 minute interactive session draws upon a comprehensive Generations Study to compare and contrast opinions across generations. We will bust some myths and explore opportunities for brands.
All about Boomers - The Big Window
We will also be joined by Barry Clark of Related Stories, who will be familiar to some of you as one of our 'Double Header' speakers in early October. Barry will be sharing his documentary style videos that feature individual stories from older generations.
After a light lunch we'll hear about Gen Z, and finish up with a lively debate!
Britain’s New Parents: A Deep Dive into the Changing Landscape as Gen Z Steps into Parenthood - Hush Research & Strategy
This session will provide a snapshot of an engaging ethnographic-based study that offers a unique look into the experiences of the next generation of parents in the UK. Through compelling video narratives, you’ll gain an intimate glimpse into how Gen Z is navigating the early stages of parenthood, shedding light on some of the evolving dynamics and challenges they face.
And finally, Lucy Davison (Keen as Mustard) and Oliver Sweet (IPSOS) will take to the stage for what promises to be a lively afternoon debate!
