We believe that the way clients and research agencies work together can make a real difference to people’s confidence and well-being.
Clientside researchers and agencies who support the AURA Working Well Together Charter are committing to a set of standards they will live up to when they work together.
We recognise that it will not always be possible for you to apply every single principle to each and every project. And that's fine. But by supporting the spirit of the charter and having conversations about ways of working up front will, we believe, will create more empathetic working relationships which will, in turn, deliver better work.
The six principles of the Working Well Together Charter are:
- We'll respect your time
- We’ll commit to open and honest conversations at all times
- We’ll leave you to do your best work by managing our side of things well
- We’ll treat you as an extended part of our team
- We’ll respect your right to disconnect
- We’ll commit to proper feedback
You can read and download the full charter, along with the findings from our discovery work with AURA members and agencies, using the links at the bottom of this page.
How do I show my support for the Charter?
The Working Well Together (WWT) Charter is a voluntary code. Clientside researchers and agencies can become Working Well Together Supporters by completing the relevant forms below.
Clientside researchers, please note that AURA membership is not required to be a Working Well Together Supporter, it is open to all.
We would encourage those who sign up to signal their support by using the WWT logo which can be downloaded below.
The benefits of signing up include:
- Exclusive early access to tools and resources for putting the principles into practice
- Be part of a growing network of researchers who are committed to improving ways of working in the industry
- Make use of the principles to develop your skills and improve your work – and we all know the power of making a personal commitment to help keep ourselves on track!
- Join in with your feedback, when the WWT Team ask Supporters for input – such as which Resources to develop next
- Add to the growing total number of supporters, which helps the campaign to influence others, including opportunities to showcase your best practice
- Many clients are signing up as individuals, on behalf of just themselves as the principles are things we can each practice in our own work. Others are making a team commitment and working through the principles together; sometimes nominating a champion on behalf of the team, who signs up as the Supporter
What happens next:
- You will receive confirmation that your support has been registered – thank you!
- The AURA team will email you the WWT Resources – and will welcome your feedback on what to develop next
